"Barack Obama Doesn't Blame Anybody...But John McCain Blames Obama for Everything..."
"...Like high gas prices, high taxes and stuff like that. Obama just talks about what he's going to do, like help families and kids and the world and stuff like that..."

Watching the Olympics with my 7-year old son and one of the McCain ads came on. That is what he offered up as his most recent interpretation of McCain, sans any prompting from me.

Here's his previous interpretation:

"My 7-Year-Old's Interpretation of McCain's Commercial and His Philosophy on Cheating Presidents":

3. There's no doubt I've influenced him since he was very young, but
his interpretation of these ads has been an interesting observation on my part, since, most of the time, he sees them when I'm not with him and comes to tell me what he saw - or what he garnered from the ad. I think it's incredible that a child, so innocent, can come away with a raw sense of what is going on, where adults miss the basics sometimes -- although, as other posters at DU have pointed out, the negativity is obvious with these McCain ads. If a kid can get it, though, and see right through it, maybe, just maybe, the average adult who is not really following the race can see it, too, and have the same reaction: That the negative is not attractive and is not winning McCain any points.

Who's to say; I've read that negative ads work. But they're not 'working' on my 7 year old -- he's pretty offended by McCain now.

4. Aye!
McCain will not be accountable. That's a problem.
