THAT is the theme of VP night at the convention?

I've just gone back to work - so I missed this chatter.

Is this not basically saying that it'll be Wes Clark?

I did a google search and found plenty of uses that had nothing to do with Clark. I don't think Obama is trying to signal anything with this. Just overexcited people on the Internet reading too much into a coincidence.

5. To be honest

After the fight Wes had with McCain over whether or not McCain's service is a qualification I don't think the Obama team even knows that's a slogan on his website i.e. he was never vetted in the first place. I could be totally wrong.

7. Spoke to someone with inside info.

Kaine was mentioned, but Clark wasn't.

I was saddened about Clark, but I think on the surface, Kaine looks like a very good choice for balancing the ticket. I just don't want a 2nd senator on the ticket. It kills the "Change" message in a huge way.
