Shuster opened "Hardball" envisioning "blood on the floor" of our Convention --

This is his lead into the story of Senator Clinton's name being placed in nomination. If anyone thinks the media is not hoping for blood on the floor, and hyping and encouraging division in our Party and at our Convention, in order to jolt their ratings, then I think you're wrong.

I know it's difficult here, but if we can not buy into this, it helps our candidate and our Party.

Shuster now introduces PUMAs, as if they are at all representative of our Party. Again, why are these the headline guests on the show when Obama and Clinton issued a conciliatory JOINT statement today?

My guess is if there are three PUMA protesters in Denver, that will be the lead story all week. Please help both our nominee Senator Obama, Senator Clinton, our Party, and our country by not buying into media hype. Let's do all we can -- as our Party has done many times in the past after hard-fought primaries -- to at least appear united, to look to the future and not the past, and not to feed the media beast.
