Since Hillary has already spent several years putting
together a free health care plan for this country that the repukes kept her from putting in effect why doesnt Obama let her put together a department and have her take up where she left off and get everyone free health care???
Hillary is a brilliant women and i think that she would be a great asset for this country if only she could put together a plan to benfit everyone.

5. Dennis said his plan could begin to be implemented immediately.
Although I did hear someone else say no way could we (the government) afford to go that route. But if I recall, Dennis had a formula for making it work.

Gravel also had a good plan (sounded good to me, anyway).

All the others -- Biden, Dodd, Edwards, Clinton, Richardson --I think that all theirs weren't all that much different than what we have now. Meaning the plans still basically gave the insurance companies and drug companies too much power.

7. Her plan would cost up to 10% of your income
It is not free. She's the last damn person I want in charge of health care.

10. Yep.. and she "involved insurors & for-profit hospitals" in the
writing of the proposal..

Insurance is the PROBLEM...not the solution..

Health care should be a Not-for-profit proposition, and everyone should have care at least as good as what the government gives their employees..

We would not need the VA, or Medicaid..Everyone should be lumped into ONE plan..called medicare..

There's a reason why it was called medicare..and not senior-care.. The plan all along was for it to start with the elderly, and then fold in the rest of us, but the Viet Nam war and all the other turmoil of the 60's made it impossible to finish..

Just imagine the wasted wealth of a nation, who has dithered away fortunes on paying for health care, instead of being able to save that money for their own old age prepapration.....and of the millions of 50-something who will be losing paid for homes, as they age...all due to impossible medical bills..

11. Here here! She did such a great job the first time, right?
NOT! I want her as far away from health care planning as possible. :scared:

8. Keep it simple. Expand FEHBP to all Americans.
...that's the "Federal Employees Health Benefits Program".

It gives one the choice of several HMO, PPO, and PPV plans. As a member of FEHBP, I believe it's our best option...certainly better than trying to craft a single-payer plan. It works for the people who need health care.

9. when did she put together a "free" healthcare plan?
Wasn't there a big debate about some sort of fine if you didn't purchase healthcare? I remember it being cheaper and that they would help if you can't afford it but I don't remember it being "free"

I guess I missed that.
