7. I wish we could all stop
feeling good or bad based on these polls because they are useless. These polls are as accurate as weighing yourself daily because polls like weight are going to go up and down EVERY DAY. It's fluctuations. They are sampling a few people in the grand scheme of things. They aren't talking to college kids. They aren't talking to first time voters. Here in Nevada we've had a surge of new voter registration for dems. They are only calling people who have voted in the past not the new voters. We've got the youth and the new voters and that can't me measured.

10. Especially this poll
Last week was anomolous. Usually Obama goes down towards the end of the week and rises again in the beginning of the week.

13. Personally, I don't give a shit about these polls.......
Just like the "Wag the Dog War" going on right now, this shit is just used to manipulate us....and I guess to some extent, that's what it does.....leads people by the nose! Too bad we are this susceptible to corporate nonsense.

17. there is no reasoning for a slide, other than the fact he is on vacation
and hasn't gotten the coverage that McClown has with this Georgia fiasco.

14. Strap on the tin foil and prepare for launch...
IF the abundant evidence of vote tampering is true...

then the main evidence of it occurring - polling - must be discredited.

IF those controlling such an ability to tamper with vote totals are facing a tight race, then their task to discredit the polling is limited to exit polls.

However, if the race were, in fact, not so close, then ...

Is anyone monitoring the methodology of the various polling agencies - especially Gallup?

19. do you see that it's up and down even according to your graph?
Obama will be up again and he still has a Vp selection and convention. Stop fretting. You post these every day and you should know some days he's up and some days he's down.

22. I think you're right
Being in the news increases name recognition and increases poll numbers. Not being in the news does the opposite.

Which by itself is a sad commentary on the voters, but that's a different matter.
