Fallon woman wins trip "Backstage with Barack"

An eastern Montana woman is feeling like she won a golden ticket after entering a nationwide contest.

Barb Sackman of Fallon found out just a few days ago that she is one of ten people in the country to win a trip "Backstage with Barack."

In addition to a free trip, the schoolteacher will get to meet Obama before he takes the stage at the Democratic National Convention.

"Well I just couldn't believe it. I really, nothing like this has ever happened to me before. You know, I'm just from a small town. It's not something you expect to hear. You know, actually, I did a little bit of jumping around. My son and daughter were with me, they thought that maybe I was losing my marbles. Yeah, I was pretty excited. I totally feel like I got the golden ticket," Sackman said.

The Obama campaign isn't alone in creating a contest for supporters.

The Montana Republican Party will pick two winners to attend the Republican National Convention Friday.
