2. McCain doesn't have to nuance when that is his folk.
But now we know where he stands, and he is just a typical right winger.

3. CNN is right...
if 'direct' = 'outright bullshit' and 'nuanced' = 'honest and thoughtful'

6. The problem is for these people of faith is there is no room for nuance..
Edited on Sat Aug-16-08 09:06 PM by WCGreen
Everything is black or white.

Abortion is evil no matter what the circumstance. Taxes are bad, especially those directed at people of faith who can afford 1000 t sit in the audience. War is good if it against someone who can play the anti-christ...

It's fables, nursey rhymes and voodoo. That's what motivates these people.

7. Direct? With his Ronnie Reagan story telling?
It's sickening. He never gets tired of telling his POW stories, that's all he's got.

9. it's fine. Obama will have to learn
the media/sheeple of the USA do not not like intellect. They do not want to understand things that are not black or white. This is a country that will laps up entertainment that is transparent and not intellectually challenging, why would they want that from their politics.

Obama must just learn to better communicate with the sheeple. How ever dumb they are we need a few of their votes to get us over the hump.

12. And here we go again. The media is doing it's job stumping for the GOP candidate. Dana Bash said
that Obama addressed Warren and talked slowly, while McCain spoke to the audience and to the voters at home. She then said something about how it reflects what kind of candidate they are. WTF?

17. The media is in the tank for McCain. Period.
They never call him out on his gaffes, but Corsi's stupid book makes the front page of BOTH the New York Times and Washington Post, both allegedly "liberal" newspapers.

If Obama doesn't win this election, I will do everything I can to retire early, and move someplace safe. I work in downtown DC now, and I have no doubt that if McCain "wins," nuclear exchanges are in play. And I'm at ground zero.

This is not my first choice. But things are spinning out of control.

13. It was a SET UP
what did any of us think was going to come from this? Obama walks into the Lion's Den, answers questions in a thoughtful intelligent and yeh, a Christian way and he will be slimed for days and days to come

While on the other hand, the War Hero, who obviously had the answers to the questions for days, and had a chance to flaunt his "credentials" in front of his red meat crowd while that fat fuck who's church it was acted as the ringleader of the circus

When are Democrats going to learn that you cannot reason or talk to these people; they are going to take you down no matter what

I think it was a huge mistake for Obama to have gone there and they will use it against him a thousand times

America...land of the free, home of the brave...and populated by the lowest common denominator. Intelligence bad, dumbass unquestioning faith good.

He thought Rick Warren was a friend. When Obama reviews the tape he will see that he was not a friend at all.
