I am very disappointed in Rick Warren
He proclaimed that this would not be a campaign event, but he allowed McCain to take over his question and answer session.

3. That's OK. At least Independents and Moderate Democrats will now realize
that John McCain ain't nothing but a warmonger Extreme Fundie. That's who McCain pleased tonight.

4. I agree.. McCain was not thoughful or inspiring.. It was a stump speach
that was pre-prepared.. Its obvious to me he had the questions for review.

5. I agree with the Florida pastor on C-Span right now
He's saying the same thing -- that with Obama
Warren conducted a conversation, whereas with
Bomb Bomb, Warren allowed him to give stump
speech after stump speech.

Tonight we saw two completely different
events -- the guy on C-Span got it absolutely
right.

7. and somehow it looked like McLame knew the questions in advance too....
not very *christian* that - either the sound proof room was a LIE by Warren, or McLame cheated, and listened.

11. I thnk he had good intentions ...
but a lot of people here spotted it ...

he was cutting in on BO a lot, cutting into BO while he was still talking ... Then just let McCain go off on tangents and control the conversation once he got past the early jitters ...

13. He'd make a good "political pundit": Adversarial with Democrats...

... acquiescing to Republicans.

:(

17. Indiana Green
You can believe whatever you want or don't want to believe. That is your right. But your "Anyone that claims Jesus as his or her best friend, and that talks to him all the time, should get a shot of Thorazine and be put in an mental institution." gets you a figurative 'boot to the head' as far as I am concerned.

YES, Jesus IS my best friend and I DO talk to him all the time. That is what living as a follower of Christ entails. You are a religious bigot and you are much worse than those you decry. Look in the mirror first, Indiana Green and fix what's wrong there.

16. My take on Warren with Obama
Yeah, he did cut in a few times, but that's because it was more like a conversation. Like how we talk over and get talked over by our friends in a back and forth. McCain was just on a tear and it was pretty hard to shut him up or steer him back to the original question. Primarily, Warren was showcasing himself. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Warren will vote for McCain, but enjoyed the hour with Barack more.
