11. that's todays justification for it-
not so sure that this isn't a way for people to 'feel good' about doing wrong.

I've heard the most convoluted 'teachings' over my years as a 'Christ'ian. I don't believe there was any doubt about what Jesus was teaching-

"Sell everything you have, give the money to the poor, and follow me"- And where did the rich man who had 'done everything' he was supposed to do? He walked away, because his 'stuff' was his 'god'.

12. the 'eye of the needle' was an actual passage on the road like the one pictured


The idea that it was more difficult for a rich man to pass through meant that a rich person was more likely to add useless junk to his camel making it too wide to get through while a normal person on foot would have less 'baggage'.
