Are You Going To Watch The Convention With Or Without Commentary?
I'm wondering which station to Tivo - should I go with C-Span or with one of the suck ass stations to see what the spin is?

Beyond your advice, I was wondering generally what people's plans are for viewing the barf-o-rama.

3. i am pretty sure i cant listen to the repugs speeches
what i may be able to handle is some of the commentary after......especially if hillary is kicking ass. i hear she is heading the truth out part. if they are fawning over repugs, no way. will have to get the jest of it off the board

4. I'm Sure Wolf Blitzer And Judy Woodruff Will Be Hard-Nosed
And pay special attention to the balloon arrangements. If they go off without a problem, that's a good omen for Bush.

14. I'll check out the ABC Evening News
to see if they do the same hatchet job on the Repugs every night that they did on the Dems. Lets see if they show the parties (complete with video obtained from someone inside), and those nice ambushes where they accuse prominent folks of partying with big-money donors instead of attending the convention sessions.

I especially want to see some of those profiles of big-money GOP donors who happen to be criminals.

That's how ABC covered the Democratic Convention. I want to see the same for the GOP.

15. I'll read the transcripts of the speeches of the major players.
They are indicative of the fall campign strategy. (Although in this case just look at the lineup and the strategy appears clear -- fake being moderate and inclusive.)

Other than C-SPAN, there is no national political TV news coverage in the US worth a damn.

17. Not the convention itself
Hardball, Keith Olberman, and C-span. No coverage of the convention itself and **** is no longer allowed on my tv.
