Liberal Pastor Group Ad - No Mention Of McCain, But ABC Says Its An Attack Re McCain's Adultery!
Edited on Sun Aug-17-08 12:41 PM by Median Democrat
Matthew25, a Christian group, is airing a commercial in favor of Barack Obama. The ad contains no mention of adultery or McCain, but because it mentions strong families, ABC is spinning it as an attack on McCain's adultery. Amazing. It is okay for RW to slam on John Edwards and his affair, but a Christian organization can't praise Barack Obama's commitment to his family? Absolutely amazing. The ad is very postive, and again not a single mention of John McCain or adultery. Can we say over-sensitive?

Here's the ad:

Here's ABC's story:

Is a Liberal Christian Group’s TV Ad Suggesting McCain is an Adulterer?
August 15, 2008 1:26 PM

The Matthew 25 Network, a liberal Christian group, is running an ad in support of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, that seems to be obliquely raising the issue of Sen. John McCain’s infidelities during his first marriage.

:wtf:

The Big Media sycophants are a bit touchy.

3. Gee. It would seem to me that if that is what they see, it must because of their
own warped perspective. It is kind of like "it takes one to know one".

9. Plenty nice of ABC to bring it up for clarification.
Because I for one think it wouldn't be fair for the veir viewers to miss the context that John McCain did cheat on his disbled wife who had waited for him, raising their children and working for his release, with a much younger woman who was gorgeous and wealthy. If you did not know that--you would be missing a big chunk of the character question. That would just be ABC doing their job .

10. They're doing our work for us.
Let 'em say what they want. Reminding people what a scumbag McLame was to his ex-wife is exactly what should be going on. The Keating 5 scandal should be front and center during the last phase of the election cycle.

but I agree...maybe not as bad of a dig as abc sees it...but its a dig BARACK OBAMA STANDS BY FAMILYS..INCLUDING HIS OWN....its good a positive message that can only be read as a dig if one has not stood by ones own family...i mean you can't bitch about the ad without bringing up adultry..who he left his injured disfigured wife for the wealthy , younger Cindy...its good and ABC is correct...but how cares...it only works because McCain has the skeleton in his closet.

I'll bet McCain wants them to just skip bitching about this one.
