Focus On McCain & Assign All Blame To HIM. Going After Warren Is Totally Counterproductive
Edited on Mon Aug-18-08 11:00 AM by cryingshame
#1. Democrats want the focus on McCain. Let HIM bear all responsibility for breaking rules.

#2. Going after Warren simply makes Warren want to protect himself further.

#3. Giving Warren a chance to save face increases the likelihood he'd distance himself from McCain and allow McCain to twist in the wind.

#4. Going after Warren, who IS popular, simply alienates the few moderates that Obama MIGHT have started attracting.

This is simple strategy.

Winning isn't about being 100% right. It's about being 100% EFFECTIVE.
