That was a salt-of-the-Earth American! I wish I could help
his business somehow and order an air conditioner!

I know how this guy feels. Obama called me, during the Iowa
caucus hoopla because I was an undecided voter.

I ended up being a precinct captain for him during the caucuses,
and I'm a precinct captain for the GE.

Kinda funny, when Senator Obama called me, his phone died and he
had to call me back. I thought that was cute.

Senator Obama was a gracious, giving class act--and it's great
that he calls people like this.

My husband constantly chides me because I didn't *69 him and
get his cell-phone number! :)

7. i doubt ed gave him the max contribution

maybe he gave a couple hundred, maybe just a few dozen, but the fact that obama took five minutes out of his day to call him when traditional candidates are constantly groveling at the feet of big donors is one of those little details that make obama so unique.

it's nice and sadly too rare to support a candidate so fully as barack.
