How about some Dem standing up and saying using the Biden like line of McBush only knows three words, one's a noun, a verb and the last is POW......

3. Considerng McC's voting record for veterans I think there could be a way to do it
Maybe not use the "POW" designation. But perhaps weave it into a message about with how he uses troops as prps, embellishes his military experience and then turns his back on troops. Not a catch phrase deal but something for a 30 second campaign ad.

4. you know something
I completely forgot that Biden's wife and baby were killed in a car accident in the 70s. Does anyone remember when Joe Biden was on Morning Joe (after McCain was slapped for his lack of support for the GI bill by Obama, and McCain said "Neener, Neener, you never served in the military!")? I remember they asked him about that line of attack on Obama by McCain and Biden said something like "This is hard...McCain is a friend. But that was wrong. It was like saying, for instance, if I said "members of my family was killed in an accident with a truck driver, so only I have the right position on this Truckers Bill" (ok, that's a really weak translation, but someone else has to remember, right?) I never made the connection that maybe he was actually talking about his own family's car accident by referencing it, bc Biden does not use it as a line of victimization....

5. Nope nor should he, imo....
On the other hand, there is no reason for everyone NOT affiliated with the Obama campaign cannot raise it, imo.

If it is used enough, just seeing Biden will remind people of his original smack down and tie it to the continuous, ad nauseam use of 'McCain the POW' meme.

6. I've been using it here, sharing with friends in the real world
noticing other people starting to use it to.

I think its a good one, but we kinda have to wait for the moments when McCain surrogates like Hannity or David Gregory are really using it as a cheap way to deflect questions about his character.

If we jump the gun, it sounds disrespectful, but, for example, in this last forum, where he seemed to only want to talk about being a POW and nothing else, yeah, the saying has some good effect i.e.

it's a careful balance not to sound disrespectful but waiting for the moment when it becomes a funny way to describe something that most people would agree is going on: McCain overusing the POW thing to avoid answering hard questions.

7. I'd like to see him come up with a different but just as memorable
and damning sound bite.

That one has been done to death, and trying to revive it (with the revision to accommodate McCain) might fall flat.

I'd like to see something brand new, and brilliant in its own right.
