What if Obama Picked Colin Powell? -- Wouldn't that put the GOP's feet to the fire?
Now it isn't likely to happen, nor would I support Powell after his UN con job.

But just as a hypothetical.

Doesn't the GOP like to talk about not being bigoted? Haven't they long talked about how they love Colin Powell? Don't they almost go into orgasm about him on Hannity and Limbaugh???

But I've always assumed they're full of it. They like Powell as long as he's not calling the shots and he follows politics they agree with.

Powell would show the GOP up for the very bigoted party I believe it is.

Do you agree?

He knowingly went in front of the world and gave false testimony against Iraq! Thousands dead because the world believed him.

Colin Powell is like Jesus to the Right. He can seemingly do no wrong.

With Powell the gop gets to show the world they're inclusive. He's window dressing for them, just like Clarence Thomas. But as for military leadership I like Wesley Clark. That would drive a big nail in McCain's coffin.

The thread about Obama married to a white woman got me thinking though. I've often wondered if Powell uses the Right or if it's the other way around...or mutual.

8. I think the right uses anyone they get their hands on.
Just like they've used Reagan Democrats or conservative fundies to win elections.
