McCain is going to pick Holy Joe as his running mate
Thom Hartmann just reported that Gramps' campaign has been calling Secretaries of State in various states to ask if it is legal to have a non-Republican on a Republican ticket.

What else could it mean?

Gramps & Holy Joe. The ultimate ticket to worldwide annihilation and total boredom.

can't or won't finish his term, and Joe is the unelected President.

It almost has a Rove feel to it. Schroeder told to take a dive as the republican candidate in 2006, Joe runs and wins as an independent for the Senate seat. As a reward, Joe is given promises of running mate and then potentially president. And he will be a loyal foot soldier for the neocons. As for Schroeder, he will be likely be installed to take Joe's unfinished term in the Senate by the republican governor of Connecticut.

11. I'm sure that's what the pharma-funded kitty cult is hoping for
Back in May or June, I would have considered that possible. Not so much now.

23. Senator Clinton is NOT a Republican, she is a Democratic Senator
She has thrown her support and SD vote behind Senator Obama, whose joint statement with her last week shows his respect and trust of Senator Clinton. Why are you questioning his judgment, because that is what you're doing.

Divisive garbage.

5. I just can't imagine that he'd risk pissing off the right wing anti-choice crowd.
Not to mention that it would mean Joe would be next in line and I don't think the GOP (or the country) is ready for a Jewish President. It's too risky for him- at least that's my thought.

21. ...but Joe...
...is a staunch neocon warmongering criminal. He's just like the rest of the
BushCo thugs. He's totally one of them, and they so loooove it when someone
is as evil and twisted at they are. A fellow psychopath is a rare find!

Warmongering and destroying our country are first and foremost to the controlling
overlords in the Republican party right now. They'll gladly accept anyone of any
stripe--if they are loyal to the Fascist agenda that these thugs plan on foisting on our democracy.

Joe is evil and a cheerleader for the PNAC blueprint--and to them that trumps everything else.

In my opinion, these people are not religious and they could give a rat's bum about
religion. They use God to cull votes. They're all evil to the core. They
could care less what their comrade's religion is--because they all understand that
religion is just a showpiece to fool the masses into believing that these are normal human beings.

IMHO.

25. For all their prior bluster, I think Rush/Coulter/Hannity etc would fully turn on McCain
if he brought JL in as the VP candidate.

The only thing Joe stands for where he's in line with the Repubs is the war. Practically every other view he holds is almost 180 degrees from the Repub base

If McCain is stupid enough to choose Joe as his VP he'll lose everyone who bitched about him in the primaries (esp. Dobson and his ilk) but who would have eventually voted for him in the election.

9. Please let it be true!!!
This would be such a bad decision for McCain. All we can do is pray that
McCentury picks Droopy Dog. Please...oh...please!!!

It's such a bad decision, that I have a hard time believing that it is even
true.

Freeper and Evangelical heads will completely implode. McCain all ready has
lukewarm support is his own party. If he does something like this, we're
talking major tipping point. So many Republicans will stay home.

Is Joe supposed to appeal to Independents? Everyone understands that Joe
is a warmongering neocon. Independents of all people are not attracted to
Lieberman.

And Democrats---you can forget swaying any of them. Except for the neocon
DLC faction of our party--he is detested in Democratic circles.

Go ahead McCentury...pick Joe!!! Please!! Now!!

I think he is floating Lieberman, who the right wing would absolutely despise, just to make his actual choice look good to them by comparison.

It's a fake out!
It is just to portray McCain as a moderate while he talks hardline.
He will not be picking lieberman......as the overwhelming majority of Republicans
are against it.

McCain hopes that when he picks Brownback, Romney or Huckabee, the GOP will become joyful and be thankful enough to vote for him.
