According to John King just now on CNN, although he prefaced this with their saying they would much rather see Barack Obama president. Not good enough!

CNN is running specials tonight on both John McCain and Barack Obama. King is doing McCain.

1. it sounds like they're really promoting the hell out of these specials.
I don't plan on watching, but I hope that others on DU do to relay how good/bad it ends up being.

9. King does ask the McCains about his failed marriage. McCain was not amused, looked 'testy.'

17. I watched the previews last night
I don't know if the entire shows will be more balanced, but the Obama preview focused on his ambition and the McCain preview focused on his brushes with death. :puke:

2. WTF? The message should be that McCain would be a DISASTER!!
Edited on Wed Aug-20-08 03:56 PM by wienerdoggie
It should be unanimous, we should be FRIGHTENED of a McCain Presidency!!! Holy God, no wonder Obama can't keep his head above water, with a party like this behind him. We fucking deserve to lose, even though Obama doesn't.

3. It was more like "I wouldn't lose any sleep over his being president"
If that's really what Feingold thinks, that is a big dissappointment. What's happened to him?

5. Honestly, why the hell do I even bother any more?
Why do I fight for a party that can't even seem to be fucking bothered to fight for itself and stand up for itself.

I'll wait to see if this quote is exact or true or whatever, but even if not it sounds too obscenely plausible for the basic point not to hold.

12. Feingold is a greedy right-winger.
That's the only explaintion for this kind of thing. Remember his chastising of Obama over the campaign finance issue? What a scumbag that man is.

10. I hope Obama's campaign is keeping track of the weak supporters
Cut them out of key positions, and generally make their political lives a living hell after he wins.
