Dick Morris Rewrites History: Claims Iraqi Government Invited US In

On last night’s (8/22/08) Hannity & Colmes, Dick Morris attacked Barack Obama for suggesting that the United States invaded Iraq. According to Morris, “We went into Iraq at the invitation of the government, not as an invasion.” With video.


As Think Progress noted, Morris later backed away from the statement a bit, “We are in Iraq now at the invitation of the government.” But seconds later, Morris repeated his false assertion: "We’re in Iraq as the result of a democracy asking for us to come in there. It’s not an invasion. It’s not a takeover. We’re not trying to annex Iraq."

3. WTF? So, I guess Saddam's choice not to 'get outta dodge' or
risk invasion was the invitation? Maybe. Only a republican bottom-feeding moron could distort reality so completely.

"prostitute toe sucker" The only loser whose opinion I might value less might be Bob Shrum.
