1. Yeah, you're right, but I must have my KO fix.
Not sure if it's worth it, though. :eyes:

7. Agreed.
C-Span all the way. No talk, no interruptions, no spin.

I feel really, really sorry for KO. He's got to sit there and listen to the O-Joe bashing, then he'll have to sit there and listen to all the spew during the repuke convention. He probably feels like he needs a shower after being so close to those assholes.

I have to watch it in HD.

Wat, it is on PBS in HD? F CNN and their non-coverage of Maya Soetero-Ng's speech.

11. Or watch online from the DNCC website -- it's HD and you get all of the events,
without the talking heads.

13. Ummm...
in a way it's still part of the corporate media conglomeration.

http://cspan.org/about/index.asp?code=ABOUT

C-SPAN is a private, non-profit company, created in 1979 by the cable television industry as a public service. Our mission is to provide public access to the political process. C-SPAN receives no government funding; operations are funded by fees paid by cable and satellite affiliates who carry C-SPAN programming.

and has not let the Bush administration get away with anything since.

15. Why did the MSM even go to Denver?
They're not even covering much of the actual convention! They should save all of these talking heads and pundits until after the convention has adjourned for the day. It's been nothing but talking heads....they could've done all of this from their studios in New York & Washington! I think all they went out to Denver for was for the free food in the hospitality room, on the Democrat party's dime!

But yeah...they could have stay in-studio.....cause I sure don't see them or hear them.

16. I like CSPAN; sadly, they require Windows Media for the live convention
coverage. Anybody know a way to get the CSPAN feed on a Mac?

(Not urgent, though. I'm getting unfiltered coverage by way of MSNBC.)

No talk just HD convention coverage.

Channel 9445 - not sure what kind of fancy package you gotta have, but it looks great.

19. C-SPAN is certainly doing a great job just showing
what is going on. I'm enjoying the stream online but got MSNBC going on in the family room. I am moving between the two but seem to be on the computer more.
