Can some explain this to me.
I have heard several people protesting at the convention, Hillary supporters, who are saying that they are not going to vote for Obama because Hillary was not chosen as Barrack's running mate. So these people would risk letting McCain win the election, simply because Hillary was not Barrack's VP selection. I don't understand how these people can call themselves Democrats if that is how they truly feel.

3. They're not Democrats. They're not even Hillary supporters, most of them.
The GOP always uses dirty tricks, and this is their theme this year.

4. i think perhaps some of them are disaffected Democrats, but a very small percentage of the party
this is brought about by the close race, which is harder to lose than a blowout. among the uninformed, it was not helpful to have people questioning the legitimacy of Obama's win in the primaries in the May-June time period. without that, there still would have been unhappy folks, perhaps withholding their votes, but those numbers would have easily been half of what they are now.

but that's like toothpaste out of the tube.

we are going to have to win despite everything that has happened before.
