Mischievous Democrats to Celebrate McCain's 72nd Birthday!
This is funny! It's the same day as his VP announcement too! The old man's gonna be pissed.

Mischievous Democrats to spark up 72-candle cakes for McCain's birthday

When John McCain rolls into Dayton, Ohio, Friday to rally with his newly minted running mate, local Democratic activists will be on hand to wish him a happy birthday -- a happy 72d birthday.

According to the Ohio Democratic Party: "The party will feature a birthday cake with 72 candles and a mobile billboard featuring a photo that tells voters everything they need to know about John McCain -- and his eager embrace of George Bush's failed policies, with the message, `Does This Look Like Change To You.' "

1. 72 candles
Boy I sure hope they don't light the candles. Something might catch on fire. Besides the Obama campaign I mean.

"LET'S THROW MCCAIN A VERY PUBLIC 72nd BIRTHDAY PARTY NEXT FRIDAY!

It'll be the day he tries to step on Obama's bounce by announcing his VP choice. We should grab some attention back by wishing him a happy, healthy 72nd birthday party, complete with a big old "Katrina Cake" like he had with Bush during Katrina."

10. If McCain gets pissy, we'll have to remind him to
"keep his sense of humor," as he suggested Obama do about Corsi's book of lies.

"McCain and his advisers have said nothing about "The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality," an innuendo-filled, mistake-riddled biography written by Jerome R. Corsi that will debut at the top of the New York Times bestseller list this weekend.

Asked about the book Friday, McCain replied: "Gotta keep your sense of humor." A McCain aide later said he had misheard the question and thought it was about a television ad."
