I refuse to shed a tear for Al Gore and what might have been...
I lamented that already, for several years. I am through.

Instead, I will celebrate and be inspired by the great man he has become. One of the world's premier statesmen.

Time and time and time again, Al Gore proves what kind of man he is, Academy Award, Nobel Peace Prize, he just keeps fighting and fighting.

The world is only now beginning to appreciate Al Gore. He's a lot like Jimmy Carter that way.

And as great as he's been, I think Al Gore is only beginning to show us what kind of man he is.

I was really crushed over John Kerry. It's still pretty sore with me. Al, I've had longer to heal on that one, obviously.

3. I agree. The time for tears over what might have been is passed.
Let's embrace what should be: the election of Barack Obama as the president of the United States.

9. It's hard, but I focus on what Gore's accomplished in the last 8 years that he could
have never done if he'd been President.

14. He's done more good as a private citizen than Bush did in
By freaking light years! I fear if he was president in the climate we have been in he would have been attacked relentlessly and stupidly by the media like he was as a candidate, and the Republicans would have went nuts on him like they did with Clinton. I guess he can handle that, but Al's too good a man to put up with that BS. Nobody needs to say who was the better man 8 years ago, it's understand. Al is a great man, Bush is the worst president ever. I'd be embarrassed if I was in the media, but I suppose they have no shame.

13. How bout this?
Obama restores the country to its dignity that disappeared during Dumya, then Al Gore rides up in 8 yrs and continues the legacy.

24. I finally am almost over 2000. I think its because Al has handled it all so well.
He really had to pick up the pieces and move on. And now he is still giving himself to us through his work for our Earth.
