The moment before a historical event.

I'm in front of the TV, nick on my finger from playing with the cat, and I'm putting away a tub of yogurt. I'm wondering if his speech will live up to expectations, as high as they are; I can't imagine the pressure Obama must feel.

It's a happy political occasion, something we've missed since November 22nd, 1963.

2. Yes, both.

I'm just an ordinary person. Speaking to a crowd of 75k seems like a super-hero ability.

Whereas saving this country now is going to require years of bailing, always with one crisis or another.
