On Sunday, August 29, as tens of thousands gather in New York City under the banner: "The World Says No To the Bush Agenda", military families will join with Veterans including Iraq War veterans, active duty troops and others to call for an immediate end to the war and occupation in Iraq and a return of all troops to their home duty stations.

A contingent of military families from across the United States including families with loved ones in Iraq, families whose loved ones were killed in Iraq, families whose loved ones were wounded in Iraq and families whose loved ones served in Iraq; will join with Iraq War Veterans who served in Iraq during the U.S. invasion and occupation and other Veterans in a lively contingent to march in the "The World Says No To the Bush Agenda" demonstration organized by United for Peace and Justice. The contingent will march to military cadences with verses such as "They wave the flag when you attack; when you come home they turn their back."
