That's the e-mail address where you can address complaints about Charles Babington's biased, sickening, anti Obama op-ed piece that the AP is presenting as objective journalism.

I just sent them an e-mail. I encourage you to do the same.

3. Kick... Here is what I wrote:
To the AP:

Shame on you for sending this baseless story out to America's newspapers. Babington's story claimed, "But instead of dwelling on specifics, he laced the crowning speech of his long campaign with the type of rhetorical flourishes that Republicans mock and the attacks on John McCain that Democrats cheer."

Those are lies. I don't know what speech Charles Babington watched tonight. The majority of Obama's speech included specific policy stances, numbers, and plans. The speech, which Babington says included no specifics, includes this quote from Obama: "So let me spell out exactly what that change would mean if I am president."

Our democracy depends upon a free and independent press. The AP should offer a retraction of this story as well as an apology to the Obama campaign. The McCain campaign will already have its day by naming the VP pick. The Associated Press doesn't have to help them.

Pissed off,

4. here's what I wrote
To Whom It May Concern,

Due to your partisan coverage of the Democratic Convention and specifically Senator Barack Obama's speech, I will be writing my local papers and the larger national paper I subscribe to and asking them to stop carrying the AP.

I have written to you before and asked that you report responsibly and accurately, as journalists must do. I can only conclude that you are not interested in accuracy at this point, and hence should not be confused with news.

I am most disappointed.

I will never again read one piece from the AP. Not one.

Sincerely,
