Obama should just go on campaigning like nothing happened...
Just go about his business while the GOP puts on their side show.

Side show, why isn't Kelsey Grammer a vocal republican and isn't he also Side Show Bob...

The perfect "celebrity" to represent your fathers GOP.

3. He's like Jordan - playing at a whole level above everyone else. To him, this IS normal.

5. Absolutely. It was a nut punch, and McCain has to respond.
And McCain doesn't have it in him to respond back.

Barack just took his gun out at the knife fight. I can't even imagine McCain responding in an effective manner. I keep thinking back to his "speech"(if you can even call it that) the night that Obama clinched the nomination. How does that man possibly respond back to this epic speech, with his speaking skills, let alone his ideas?

Barack took the momentum of this race in a big way this week. He should just ride it out and let the GOP struggle to try and regain some momentum themselves, which is going to be difficult.

6. It's going to be a disaster for the GOP
I don't care what they say; at this point, they can't postpone their convention, too much money and plans are wrapped up in next week. A half screen of Gustav and Hanna and the other half of the convention to remind voters out there about Katrina will finish the GOP just by itself.

And the striking differential of watching Obama inspire one week to McCain trying to feign coherence the next will slam the door shut w/ finality.
