Why would karl rove let them do that? Some brainwashed person might change their mind.

3. It's not so hard to believe, they played it once, they don't know how to counter
it all yet so what better way then to let the night play out and begin fighting tommorow after they stay up all night attempting to find a way to not make themselves look stupid, they already let to many idiots attempt to bash the speech knowing full well they looked like idiots for doing so, they need time to regroup and need to fill up the time slot.

7. Reminds me of the Miracle on Ice...

In the closing seconds of the USA vs. Russia hockey match in the 1980 Winter Olympics, when the US was winning in the last minute, Russia didn't pull their goalie to put another offensive player on the ice... they were so used to winning, they had no idea how to play when they were losing.

13. They need to show the entire fucking night because every single moment was unbelievably good.
The only times of boredom were the small waiting times in between speeches and performances. Obama's speech was simply the best icing on the cake that was skillfully built up by the people who warmed up for him and it's just criminal for the networks to simply skip ahead and miss all of it.
