Funny, I don't hear the loud chatter that was expected about the VP announcement.
Maybe I need to adjust my ear horn and listen for code. The way it was being played up,
you would have thought the Dem convention would have been dropped like a hot potato in
favor of a baited breath GOP watch. McCain may have made a mistake unless he really pulls
someone totally unexpected out of an orifice. His event may look paltry, and the selection
may be somebody that's been heard about ad nauseum.:shrug:

2. Even Wolf Blitzer said "We have more important things to talk about" when he was reminded
of the imminent McCain announcement. The McCain camp may have gotten cold feet and changed their minds about the making the announcement yesterday.
