I like all of mcpow's options. By like, I mean they will be perfect additions to a losing ticket, easy take-downs.

22. I'm with you - she's a real threat
She has "celebrity" status in the party and the media will clamor for her since she is considered attractive (personally, her attitude and issues turn me off). It won't matter what trouble she or her staff is in, it will be swept under the rug in short order.

Plus, she will be the Hillary "alternative" and they'll run with the theme that the GOP is more inclusive than the Democrats.

14. shit.
dude, she's a former mayor of wasilla, ak (population 5,000. woo!), and she has been our governor a whopping two years. Now imagine her going up in a debate against Biden on foreign, domestic, or anything policy.

4. Like what? Besides the state trooper thing, she looks pretty
clean. In fact, it looks as though she's done some pretty impressive things in her short time in office. What have I missed?

12. and then he'll get slammed for "picking on a gurh-ull".
There'll be no symmetry in the media's treatment of Hillary and their treatment of Palin.

15. Palin is actually his best choice if he makes it. Despite her lack of experience.
The dirt that goes on the rest is out of control. Jindal apparantly his second best choice but Jindal is an exorcist and all...that won't fly.

18. Uh-uh NO WAY
You do not want to take on Palin. She is young, pretty, well-spoken and despised by the party for her populist ways. The people love her in Alaska. She is also pregnant and having a down's syndrome baby and refused an abortion. The relgious right will go wild over that story.

DO NOT hope for Palin. She is dangerous.

As a fellow Alaskan who loves his state

Sarah Palin is the former mayor of Wasilla (which is no Chicago).
She has been our governor for two years (Which is no Illinois).
She can't debate Joe Biden on anything. Nothing. Nothing at all. Not even Alaska.
She's under investigation for ethical violations, reinforcing what Americans already think about the Republican party.
And best of all, John McCain loses his "not ready to lead" Memo.

Bring that shit on.

20. Swing voters won't see any of that. They will see that she's a woman. She's dangerous...

This could give women on the fence an excuse to vote for McCain. She's a smart choice and if you don't think she's dangerous, you're being naive.
