It seems like the media are pretty pissed off today.

2. Chuck Todd said that it could cause a backlash from the press corp unless it is a "surprising" pick
And someone else on Morning Joe (not sure...I don't think it was Mark Halperin), maybe it was the other guy there, said that it makes the McCain campaign seem really adolescent

They might be mad today, but they'll get their orders to drop it and turn Palin into a media darling.
