18. Indeed.
I have found, in my own purely scientific(I assure you...) investigations that your statement is quite true. I hope to continue my research sometime soon. ;-)

16. I think (hope) they're betting wrong. Although, I just heard an interest analysis. This pick could
be more about depressing Hillary supporters and convincing them to stay home and NOT vote for Obama rather than getting them to vote for McCain. Then why pick Palin? Well, independent women and her conservative, pro-life views should appeal to the party base.

11. It is insulting to women to imply...
...they would vote for someone just because she's a woman.

Any former Hillary supporter who disregards the well-being of our country, the well-being of her children and grandchildren...just to get a women on the ticket, is an egotistical bitch of the worst kind and makes me ashamed!!

Even Keyes has a PhD from Harvard, I think, despite his loonyness.
This woman? Er...not so much.

15. Ok, Hil supporters. Still want to see a woman president?
Are you sure?

What's it worth to you? Losing the right to choose?

This just proves how hopelessly stupid the Gramps handlers are. They don't understand anything except winning or losing. They just don't listen.

We wanted a woman who supports women.

Instead, we might be saddled with Miss Mooseburger and Miss Buffalo Chip.

17. Indeed.
And putting a woman as second fiddle to gramps is not going to satisfy voters who are still hoping to see a woman president one day.

22. Folks - relax
Just spoke to my mother. She was the closest thing to a PUMA I've ever met. Was considering not voting this time around as she was very pissed at the Democrats (we're talking about a 68 year old woman who worked on both Hillary's Senate campaigns). She laughed about the pick and found it so insulting that they'd think her vote would go to just ANY woman that she is now going to run to the polls to vote for Senator Obama. So they've miscalculated on at least one woman.

26. Me
I supported Kucinich, then Edwards, and then Hillary. And this pick goes against everything Hillary stands for. We should get that message out so the visceral image effect is limited.

27. It is such a slap in the face of Hillary
supporters to think that creationist backwards thinking RW woman could garner votes from those of us that supported Hillary. That was a big mistake for her to mention Hillary at all. We didn't just support Hillary, we support the democratic party. I'm sure Hillary will put this Palin in her place very soon. She's no threat.
