Do you think McCain chose Palin because
he feels Biden would not "attack" a woman?

We all know Biden is a skilled debater. Could it be that McLame felt he might "go easy" on her? I doubt that would happen.

9. They cannot win in an honest election..but what happened in the last
two elections, the first that gave us G Bush, an inexperienced oilman, with a questionable past we were not allowed to investigate, a pro-lifer...but I do believe that since we still have the same voting system that gave us Bush, the chances are very much there in this one, for another GOP/Rovian hack job.
I believe this is exactly why we have seen polls reporting the "close" race between Obama & McSame.
Its all set up to make the skewing of another election more believable, except for the tinfoil hats.

Palin as VP steals Hillary's thunder (what could have been),and stealing from the people of this Nation is something that defines the GOP anyway. Its not HOW you get it, its THAT you get it. GOP mantra.
I pray with all my heart that this country will have Obama as its leader, but why would I trust the likes of Bush/Rove to play by the rules at any point.
They have ultimate power, and the odds they will hand it over because the Constitution says so, is just a bit much to believe, for me anyway.

Palin represents the GOP best of all. She is a woman, wich lends a certain " in your face from the GOP to Hillary & their hatred of her. Palin is pro-choice..near & dear to their right wing fundies, and her connection to the oil industry as well as her being under investigation fulfills all the requirements for being a Repuke in todays American Govt system.

Question is: will Palin handle the "yesman" behavior necessary to belong to the GOP machine, like Bush, or will she desplay a mind of her own.

My doubts about a fair election are looming large as November approaches.

11. Agreed we need to be vigilent towards BBV
But for some reason Palin does not seem like a "First Choice"

I think later, probably after the election, it will leak out 1 perhaps 2 VP choices turned down the job. Of course they are going to attempt to steal away a few HRC supporters and there are some that are going to go...

But place the 2 women side by side HRC and Palin, and you will see plain as day Palin is not fit to shine Hilary's shoes

2. No .. McCain always had a thing for Mary Ann from Gilligans Island ...

Now he has someone to spank his junk to while saying, "That's right Sarah, call me Mr. President"

3. I think he chose her to try to get the ex-Hillary voters. He also might
THINK Biden will go easy on her, but I don't think so. Joe is one of the few people who can smack you down, destroy your argument, do it while smiling, and many recipients don't even realize what happened until LATER!

8. A debate with Hilary Clinton would be remembered as greatest slapdown ever.
I can't believe I'm saying this but a shame in this case that she is not our VEEP.
