The SPY story is what Oliphant meant..not the Swiftboat story

This story is typically getting released on a Friday as the WH ass kissing press always waits until Friday afternoon to release the most damning stuff..you can bet it has been around all week..this is typical of the bad news cycle...on a Friday when no one is paying attention.

Remember, like them and their ties or not, Kerry has assembled one of the best intelligence teams in a Dem campaign in recent history....you can expect Beers et al on TV over the next few days knocking the WIND out of the White House's sails right on time for their convention over THEIR appointments, THEIR security lapses, and THEIR spies in the Pentagon.


I believe THIS was the story Oliphant was referencing NOT the O'Neill was in Cambodia story.

And just MAYBE, Fitzgerald's grand jury will return indictments in the Pentagon? Feith? Wolfie? Why settle for just Libby now?
Btw, it IS Fitzgerald's style to turn a "lower" for an "upper" (as is most Feds).

Larry Johnson (former CIA anti-terrorism) just said in a phone call to the MSNBC Olberman show (some other woman is subbing for Keith-ugh!) that this spy (mole) investigation has been going on for several months and is expected to be tied to sharing our Iran plans with Israel, as well as investigating whether Israel may be the responsible forger on that infamous Niger letter claim about yellow cake, and of course, doing the 360 degree tour back to the Plame investigation too ...

If any/all of this verified it will be HUGE against the busheviks -- no wonder, mr perfect-war-president hisself TODAY actually talked about his possible "miscalculations" about Iraq occupation. I smell inoculation attempt here, but it looks like nepalm in the morning to me!

Oliphant was referring to something the Kerry campaign was going to do. I think he was referring to the trip to Crawford with the letter.

This is 1000x bigger than that and has nothing to do with Kerry. This is the CIA/FBI. The Kerry camp might not have even known about this.

The timing of this is no coincidence.

Bush scapegoated the CIA for bad intel for the war and outed one of their own.

This investigation has been going on for months and they go public with it now? Right before the RNC?

This story really undermines Bush. Add this to his trust of Chalabi and the WMD fiasco, and we have a pretty sordid picture of this Administration's handle of protecting the American people.

Already the premise has been put forth by some "experts" that it was the Democrats who leaked this story right before the Repubs convention. Yeah, right.

No other nightly news program had this story except CBS. They got the scoop from someone. Which network is perceived as the least friendly to the administration? Humm?? - CBS.

CBS ran with it because they had it and wanted to beat everyone to it.

Not so sure about CIA revenge either since this is an FBI job. But I suppose the CIA could be involved. And for sure someone at the CIA could have given CBS the scoop.

This story is NOT going to be neutralized by a Friday news dump. I think we'll be hearing about this for some time.

came out because of the Executive Orders Bush is putting out that deal with the changes with the our intelligence community. Porter Goss is a GOP/neocon operative and Bush is going to make him the
