PUMA and company may have just won the election for Obama... McCain overreacted to female dissent
Edited on Fri Aug-29-08 12:00 PM by Levgreee
We at DU know that, the Hillary supporters who would pick McCain over Obama, and would have ACTUALLY considered Obama in the first place, are very low in number. They have to be especially conservative or unintelligent to support a pro-life Republican candidate who doesn't represent the interest of women like the Democratic party does.

But, the topic was extremely overplayed in the media, and polls overplayed the dissent because they didn't ask participants if they would have supported Obama in the first place.

So McCain reacted to these phantom voters that he could pick up, and picked a women for the sake of picking a women, when there were better overall candidates.

I really didn't think their campaign would be this out of touch with the reality of voters, although I guess I can't say I am surprised. They make decisions while isolated in their Republican-think based reality, taking advice from people in the same echo chamber.

9. PUMA is NOT a voting bloc.
The only ones who claim it to be so are PUMAs. Everyone else here knows that they're just a small pathetic group of tantrum throwers. Fuck 'em.
