McCain's Folly! Seward's folly strikes again.
Can we give Alaska back to the Russians, along with Palen?

(William Seward's purchase of Alaska from Russia in 1867 was known as "Seward's Folly")

7. A really old arguement.
It's still McCain's folly, though, right?

10. Ah, but, according to the RW, the proximity of Alaska to Russia makes her a foreign policy czar...
Who in their right mind would believe such a ludicrous statement?! It's even less credible than saying that she supports issues that are important to women just because of her gender...:crazy:

<snip>
What has Palin said about foreign policy? Virtually nothing. Foreign Policy’s survey turned up positions only on energy issues, where Palin supports drilling in the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge even though McCain currently does not. At ontheissues.org, she comes up “no issue stance yet recorded” on not only “foreign policy,” but also “war and peace," "immigration" and "free trade." And arguments from some conservatives that she has foreign policy credentials by virtue of Alaska’s proximity to Russia are a bit of a stretch, since it’s hard to find anything she’s ever said about the country.
