They Hit All The Right Buttons.....
attractive young woman, 5 kids, working husband, in union, son enlisted in army, deploying to Iraq on Sept 11th, John Glenn mention (Ohio), PTA, cut taxes, stop spending, hockey mom, likes mooseburgers, hunter/gun advocate, etc

This is like a giant chess game. Obama said check last night and McCain still had a move.

I can't believe that this was a decision by McCain. I got to believe the party guru's and Rove - wanting to continue Repug rule - made this pick. And to boot - they can claim that McCain is a Maverick for making this pick.

This is all an image thing. Even with McCain - like dubya and ronnie raygun before - they are just figureheads and the men behind the curtain are pulling the strings and making all the decisions.

Palin - as I indicated above - fits in their image (and it's only an image) of what the American people will be suckered in for.

In the case of Obama-Biden - what you see is what you get. They WILL run this country and government. However, with McCain-Palin - we just have the front people that present the image that the Repugs think will get them elected.

The Making of a President 2008 is just that - Marketing 101. I guess the same holds true for the Dems - as the DNC was a marketing marvel - even if the MSM tried to spoil the party any chance they had.

Oh how we're being manipulated.
