Palin Is A Smart Pick - She Almost Makes McCain Look Liberal

Maybe that was the goal. Pick a VP who is a right-to-life, pro-oil, creationist and a global warming skeptic, and by comparison John McCain looks almost progressive next to his younger, better looking colleague. Perhaps having Palin on the ticket is designed to make McCain look moderate by virtue of her extremist views. Now, McCain merely looks like a neocon while Palin does her best impression of Pat Robertson.
