Greenspan says cut Social Security; Kerry spokeswoman responds
Alan Greenspan said we need to cut Social Security for the baby boomers.

Kerry spokeswoman Allison Dobson said Bush has driven up deficits that have put Social Security in danger.

"Instead of making tough choices, George Bush (news - web sites) squandered the budget surplus on tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans that dug us deep into deficits and cost taxpayers more than three times as much as it would have taken to save Social Security for generations to come," Dobson said as Kerry campaigned for votes and dollars in the Bay Area.

1. Well comes as no surprise. Pay a government, get robbed by
a government. These GD politicians have had years to work this thing out and they have sat on their rich little asses and done nothing. Absolutely nothing. Might as well have given thousands and thousands away to a pan handler.

We are being robbed. Thieves in Washington.

2. Actually, it was all working reasonably well
until this current gang of thieves got their filthy little fingers on the honeypot.

4. Baloney
This thing has been in discussion for years. Discussion is not a working plan for the future regardless of wars, administrations or politics. Its been talk, re-talk and talk some more. Politicians have planned for failure and that's exactly what we're going to get--failure.

Our government robs us every pay period and there is nothing we can do and there is nothing the people we elect to manage this government WILL do.

Highway robbery would be cheaper.

3. Wait a decade
If we leave Bush in office and in control of SS and our economic policies, we will be a third world country. Our elderly will be in economic dire and the payroll taxes to even fund petty amounts to retirees will be so high that the working class will also be third world. Welcome to the future under Bushco.
