How will it go if she drops out?

This pick is so off the wall, and someone else mentioned Heriet Meiers.

Could this be another bluff? He chooses her to show he's open to a woman running mate, but then she's exposed for something, and has to bow out, and then he chooses someone who looks reasonable by comparison, but is nuttier than hell, like Alito?

She decides after a week of campaigning, that she doesn't actually have the ability to do the job and care for her sick son?

Just thinking. This is too off the wall not to be a trap/ploy/part of a sinister plan.
