Poll question: Who here believes that this selection just cost McCain any chance to win?

I do. I feel it. And I've spoken to people here at work who see it as nothing as a pander for Hillary voters. One female co-worker who voted for Hillary told me, "McCain thinks I'm going to vote for that bimbo just because she's a woman. Get real!"
1. "Obama's speech seen by 38 mill" This was a desperate 8th round roundhouse that didn't make contact.

38 million didn't include PBS, CSPAN and was more than the opening ceremony of the olympics. They can't spin out of what people saw with their own eyes.
It would be foolish to start assuming a guaranteed win: a lot can change between now and November. At the very least, wait until after the Republican Convention. Things are looking so bad for the Repugs right now ( :nopity: ) that I almost expect McCain to be deposed by this time next week.
Or the Supreme Court sometimes. Never dismiss the possibility of corruption. I think Bushco have gotten fat and rich enough to survive anything that comes as a result of their crimes. I don't think the Repuke powers that be give a shit about the presidency any more. The political infrastructure is so infested and shored up with laws and precedents that nothing less than a complete political revolution will change anything. In the mean time, Bush and his extended crime family can go buy up massive swaths of land all over the planet to build nice luxury bunkers.

whereas Biden must spew hours of scientific or historical fact to make a point on anything, she can always reference the "source of all knowledge" and state that's what God wants.
So what more do you want, succinct consistent answers. She has God and he has POW
