Is kerry going to hit it out of the park?

or, will Bush smear his way to victory?

What are your thoughts?

3. I am not seeing the kind of
support for Bush* that the polls suggest and I am in Kansas. My gut tells me that the Repubs will pull something and Kerry will win by a landslide and still lose. Just my gut, these guys are just too nasty.

4. My opinion is that this is still Bush*s election to lose.
The good news is that he is more than capable of doing it.

Kerry's got a really good chance as long as Bush*s approval numbers stay below 48%.

5. All I know is that I've never heard so many people talking politics.
Everywhere I go, people are bringing up the election. Women on the tennis court, everyone at work, people standing in line at the gas station, my mom. I've been in 7 states since June and I've voted in 6 presidential elections and I've not seen anything like it.

6. My gut feeling is that this thing isn't over.
Kerry doesn't have it wrapped up. It's going to be a fight right down to the last minute. I think Kerry needs to step up his charges against Bush and keep him on the defensive. I think he needs to repeatedly challenge him to multiple debates then ask why, before the media, over and over again, Mr. Bush is so hesitant to engage his opponent. I think he really needs to expose Bush for the pussy that he is.

7. my thoughts right now
with the swift boat thing, Bush has shown that he doesn't give a shit about honor or truth. That being said, we should fully expect an October surprise. This guy's truly a caged, dangerous, chimpanzee.

If debates ever take place, Bush will get OWNED. Another reason to expect an October surprise.

12. I agree, a September surprise, an October surprise,
a early November surprise, yup, it's going to be a nail biter and d*mn, I scared. I'm taking the day after the election off....I'll need a vacation either way. May-be I'll take the rest of the week off. I WANT KERRY TO WIN, I WANT THE DEMOCRATS TO WIN A MAJORITY OF SEATS IN THE CONGRESS, I JUST WANT THIS ELECTION TO BE OVER. I'm getting so tired, so weary, so burned out.

10. Difficult to see the future is
I think the election depends on turnout.

Remember, the tracking polls DO NOT reflect the opinions of certain groups who have the most to lose if $hrubco wins. 18-24 year olds, for example, have to worry about a draft, establishing a career when jobs simply aren't available (and they haven't had the chance to SAVE anything for such contingincies yet!) paying payroll taxes into what will be a black hole for them (social security), rising tuition, etc.

Also note that many people who have never voted before or seldom vote are angry enough at/screwed enough by $hrubco to get off their bums and vote.

If those at the margins of politics vote, a Kerry landslide will there be.:)

If these people don't turn out in large numbers, or if the rethuglikkkan wedge tactics (abortion, gay rights, etc) keep enough people disinterested, Diebold will have a chance to do its job.:evilfrown:

13. I'm with you
I feel that this will be a more than comfortable win for Kerry barring any unforseen "ploy" by the Bush team. I mean something big - like some type of September, October...surprise

11. Our man knows what he is doing.
I have been all hyped for months now. Thought I would lose it over the swift boat liars for bush. But for some reason, all that fear that smirk would steal another one is gone.

I trust Kerry. I trust Edwards. We have this one. Thats not to say that we need to get lazy. I am going to a Texas Dem meeting this week to find a way to help voter registration. Thats where its at.

I know this sounds nuts, but I still dream of handing Texas to Kerry.

14. We will win comfortably
that's my gut feeling.. by 5 or more points.

But we need to expand AA radio if we want to take the House and Senate in two years. Rush has been pouring poison into american ears for ten years ... while we sat silent. Incredible.

15. Rove and shrubs best smears day are behind them!
For this campaign anyway. This is going to be Kerry's tact to the finish. He isn't going to let the swift boat liar story go away easily. He is going to pound this until everyone despises shrub for what he has done over and over again to vets. There is a great series of ads from Move On about to come out. The Census report has some pretty damning figures against the shrub...poverty, no health insurance etc. We have the debates starting at the end of September, as of now 3 are scheduled. The spy scandal breaking. Kitty Kelly will be releasing a scathing book about shrub in September. Michale Moore will be releasing F911 in October. That will be something to work with, plus all the other goodies that have a habit of occurring as days go by.

19. Turnout will decide this race
I think there is a very big question mark out there, 18-30 yr olds. If this age range turns out in the record numbers that I think they could, its goes to Kerry. We must get the 18-30 year olds out to vote.
