1. David Gregory and Andrea Mitchell are SALIVATING!
I didn't watch enough of Hardball to gage Chris' reaction, but he did have the PUMA woman on who said that it was a "brilliant" choice. And Pat is in heaven, bc Palin used to support him for president. And chris corrected Pat for calling Palin "gal". David Shuster supposedly has a special on at 9 all about Palin...

2. They love the newness.. but they are going to realize this is yet .. a story
of youth surpassing age and wisdom.. overlooking experience for a pretty face.. I don't think they've really judged real people's reactions to this.. After the weekend, just perhaps, they'll take a walk about on the boards and see us screaming about actually having the bubble headed audacity to insult Hillary Clinton.

3. I would say it was mixed...
The RW talking points haven't gotten to them all (Gregory, Buchannan) yet so they are all over the map with justifications. Tweety was given panels that skewed to the RW, and Michele Bernard was hardly given time to speak. Rachael is holding her own a bit although I don't think they have all the background info to use to take a position. The Obama surrogates have been consistent with their talking points - particularly that she and McLame = 4 more years of Shrub and she would be "a heartbeat away" from being President but lacks the ability to hold that position.
