Short sighted people think one day at a time....
or one battle at a time and do not focus on the end goal or the war. This is what I think of McSames decision to use Palin today. He needed something BIG to detract from the most fabulous speech of my lifetime. I believe this decision was made on the spur of the moment. He is short sighted.

Yes, it worked. He won the day. No one (or few) is today discussing the greatness of last night. The word on everyones lips and minds today is Palin.

Yes, he won the day, even here.

But, in doing so, he has lost the war. He probably, even more than likely, lost it last nite. But he has lost the war with this short sighted pick for VP. This decision exposes very bad decision making. We have seen all day why Palin cannot be VP. The voters who matter will see that too.

Too bad old man, you've lost. Period, end of story.

1. Ironically, you're thinking the same way you've said McCain is
There's a long way to go until November 4- and if there's one thing Dan Quale taught us is that elections don't often turn on the choice of a whack VP.

2. Cheers..
Here's to Obama's victory! It's nice to know that it's all over, and we don't have to worry about it anymore.

4. It wasn't McCain's decision. And this builds the BOGUS narrative of "maverick" and "women voters"
