Sarah Palin. Criminal?

Yesterday someone mentioned that she has a criminal record. If I recall correctly, that person noted that in her last race, she dismissed whatever federal offense she had as "paperwork. little more than a ticket"

That struck me as something, if true, that should be followed up on. Anyone have more info on this?

At the time I was looking for pictures, read the article and assumed it would be easy to get back to since I found it so easy and did not bookmark it. Unfortunately googling with things like ticket palin federal conviction and alaska is like a needle in a haystack due to alaskas corruption and Palin being on the republican "ticket".

The article was from shortly after her election and was discussing how an anonymous person or persons had sent information to several sources a few days before "tuesdays" elections (so contextualy close to the election) about Palin having a federal conviction, her response in the article was that it was "just a paperwork mistake" and "added up to little more than a ticket anyways" and that it was just a smear campaign because the old boys network was afraid of her and trying to stop her from being elected.

I am still trying to find the article and today will attempt to find it by tracing my image tracks rather than the search engine.

A picture has been clear in my reading on her, she is a whistle blower, but only when its convenient and its against someone in her way for something she wants.
