I did not watch my full complement this morning, but I heard no mention of it on either Meet the Press or Stephanopoulis, even though Palin was described as a "reformer".

They're not really giving a free pass on this, are they? I understand that a special prosecutor has in fact been appointed by the Alaska legislature.

1. My mom mentioned it...
so she had to see it on CNN or MSNBC, because she does not have internet and doesn't get the newspaper.

2. Not today. Yesterday, I heard someone comment that she
will probably get a pass. That patrolman brother-in-law was
wife beater.

I heard other reports yesterday that seem to somewhat clear her.
I cannot remember which channel--Cnn or Msnbc.

3. No one will mention that it is not nearly as clear-cut in her favor as she wants people to think.
The only substantiated charges were a threat against her father and the tasering (though by all acounts it had nothing to do with discipline and everything to do with the kid wanting to experience what it felt like.)

4. I only watched portions of MTP and This Week, but did not see any mention
In fact, George Will said that Sarah Palin will help to restore "balance in government".
:puke:

Even if Palin is innocent in this story, which I have doubts about, I find it appauling that McCain supposedly did not vet or look into this story at all...how terrifying.

7. They're gonna try and make it look like she did the right thing, THE LAW BE DAMNED!!!
Nevermind it isn't nearly as clear-cut in her favor as the situation seems.

5. Cokie Roberts dismissed it...
She said it would come to nothing, because the brother-in-law was threatening to shoot people. She was disgusting.
