Monegan also said that the governor's husband, Todd, talked to him several times about Wooten and that three top officials in her administration contacted him.

Monegan also disclosed for the first time that Palin sent him two or three e-mails that referenced her ex-brother-in-law and his status with troopers. Monegan declined to provide the e-mails because of the ongoing investigation.

Palin is likely to be deposed soon in the case, according to State Sen. Hollis French, who leads the state Senate's Legislative Counsel Committee.

French's committee unanimously authorized an investigation into the dismissal of the state's public safety commissioner, Walt Monegan, who claims he balked at pressure to remove Trooper Mike Wooten, who had an acrimonious divorce from Palin's sister.

"I saw e-mails from Branchflower two days ago to the Department of Law saying it's time to schedule a deposition of the governor, her chief of staff and the attorney general who had some contact with the case,"

4. Can we TRUST Sarah Palin??? Many reasons to say NO

I don't trust this woman to take care of MY COUNTRY! I've read other comments from people who are WELL AQUAINTED with Sarah Palin calling her "cunning" and the that her family is dysfunctional.

eher poor judgement exhibited in her own life. This "baby-gate" story and the other one in overstepping her authority in firing that Alaskan official.

Sarah is NOT Vice Presidential material IMHP.
