Whatever personal decisions Palin made re: her pregnancies
or anything else having anything to do with her family are her own damned business. Much of my support for choice in reproductive decisions tells me that this is none of our business and no one should be asked or expected to answer many of the questions being bounced around this board. I have been guilty of comments but I was wrong and this whole line of discussion is getting creepy.

We have plenty of opportunities in her public record and a variety of scandals to dicuss the differences we have with Palin, her politics, inexperience and ethics.

Let's pull out of the gutter and get back in the game.

3. I disagree.
Shit-Gate, the fake controversy over a doctored Youtube video regarding Hillary Clinton's senior advisor Mickey Kantor was pushed to national media exposure by anti-Clinton forces at DU.

It made CNN, MSNBC, Wonkette, ABC, HuffPo, Salon.com and many, many more.

2. I only sort of agree with you . . .
For me the issue asks two questions: 1) Is she a liar who has abused her power? and 2) Is she so deluded by dogma that she couldn't accept the reality that abstinence education is less than foolproof and live with the consequences? Either one disqualifies her for the job.

OTOH, this is too slimy to dig into. Dems can't touch it or we'll get slimed too. If some witness springs forth, hospital records and DNA tests in hand, sobeit. Otherwise we need to let it go.

9. This is what Obama has accurately described as....
...."silly season".

I guess McCain has effectively pushed us into abandoning the "new politics". He's pretty clever.

10. Not sayin' I don't luuuuuuv the story -- Spotlighting hypocrisy by the other guy . . .
Is always a winner for me. Just that the Obama-Biden campaign needs to steer clear of it and let the Internets do what they will . . .

Decisions you make in your personal life reflect on the type of character you posses.
Regarding ONLY the 5th pregnancy, I say that what SHE herself said to the press reveals quite a lot about the type of person she is.

I do understand where you are coming from, for the most part.
But the truth is, the Republicans are in the gutter already & if we don't ever say anything
about the terrible things they do... we will lose again.

7. Her decisions reflect her beliefs,
and her beliefs would have our government telling women what to do with their bodies.

It is within the realm of possibility that Palin would be in charge of nominating Supreme Court justices who would take away our reproductive rights.

I personally feel that we have an obligation to find out what this woman is REALLY all about.

The moment she decides to back public policy to infringe the rights of others/mine, her personal life is fair game.

11. She's running for VP as an extreme pro-lifer so it is *she* who politicizes these issues.
Sure these issues are private and "her own damn business", but she's determined to makes sure they aren't private and aren't anyone else's damn business, when anyone else should choose differently than she does. So absolutely these private issues of hers ought to be examined publicly, before the US chooses to elect her on the basis that she's determined to force her private decisions on all.
