October 10, 2005
TO: Colonel Julie Grimes
FROM: Charles R. Heath
RE: Michael Wooten

I am aware of the August 10,2005 letter sent to you by Sarah Palin regarding Trooper Michael Wooten.
Apparently, no action has been taken by his superiors, for whatever reason. He continues to intimidate members of the Palin family, most recently on September 30,2005 when he confronted 14 yr old Bristol
Palin, my granddaughter, at a Wasilla High football game. In the presence of others he called her a f----- asshole. This was while he was a member of the Wasilia High coaching staff.

Today. October 10,2005, two Wasilla High School administrators Dwight Probasco and Mark Okeson informed me 1b.atMr. Wooten was history and would never be involved in any activities, whatsoever, at the
school in the future. This was due to the Bristol Palin incident which they investigated, which was also near the date that Wooten approached and physically and verbally intimidated the boys' cross-country
running coach at Wasilla High School in front oithe football team and cross-country team.

Both administrators also confirmed that Wooten had lied to them on three issues in order to get his coaching job back after he was relieved of the position last summer. -

As the August l Othletter stated, Wooten, while anned, vowed that he would kill me with a lead bullet if I helped his wife by getting her an attorney to assist her after Wooten's physical abuse was exposed. He also
threatened to "bring down" the Palin family, which seems to be exactly what he's attempting to do now.

2. Just googled Bristol Palin's name

and it's buried on pg 18 of the google search.

Judging by the "adn" in the link, it's the Anchorage newspaper archives.

7. What's your point?
In 2005 Sarah Palin would still have been just mayor of Wasilla, not governor. So if you're saying that she had her family helping put pressure on Wooten, it seems that would be okay if she's not governor, wouldn't it?

I'm not defending anything she's done, but I'm not sure where this particular issue is leading.

Then again, I could just be missing a very important point. I've done that on occasion.

10. Didnt she state she had ZERO direct contact
never even contacted the department about Wooten.

Regardless of whether she was Mayor or not, I believe she stated she had zero contact regarding Wooten with the Department.

12. Once again, the point is NOT trooper Wooten in 2005. It's Commissioner Monegan fired July 2008
for telling Palin that he wasn't going to illegally fire a trooper because of a three year old family feud.

Trooper Wooten still has his job. Maybe he shouldn't. Maybe he's a dirtbag.

But MONEGAN was a well-respected man, an innocent by-stander trying to do the right thing. HE doesn't have a job anymore.

Oh, and the icing on the cake? Kopp, the man Palin replaced Monegan with, had a previous sexual harassment charge and had to quit two weeks later.

That is what the ethics investigation is about. Monegan.
