Well, if somehow McCain wins...you better start praying for his wellbeing every day and night...
cause if something happens to him, we'll be stuck with a
fundie whacko who makes Bush look like fucking Socrates.
So maybe this is why McCain picked her? As life
insurance?
Anyway, McCain didn't even want her in the first place,
she was forced on him by the right wingers. Sad! Why can't he
do things his own way? Is he too craven or too beaten to stand
up for himself?
AND they don't even bother to check her out and make sure
she's clean. They must've been REALLY hungry for red meat to
throw to the fundies.
But even McCain can't swallow the plate of steaming shit
they set in front of him and told him is apple pie. He's
coming out with ridiculous crap about them being soul mates
and is obviously very uncomfortable around her.
This is kind of like a farce, but I'm not really sure if
this is funny or not.

1. Some Maverick he turned out to be.
He's just another neocon fundy tool with no backbone. He'd sell his soul to the devil if it would help him get elected. Maybe he already did.

5. He sold himself completely for power. A sad story.
Despite his temper and his unpleasantness, he once had the potential to do some good in Washington.
No longer.

2. If he wins, I check out ...
at that point the nation gets everything it votes for. I will focus on helping the animals ... as we can't blame them for the tragedy.

4. I'm with you that. People need to recognize what's in their best interest.
If they can't even figure that out then bon voyage.

6. If McCain wins it proves only one thing in my mind.
That the entire election process is completely bought off and corrupt. No way around it. And if the McCain/Palin ticket is put in power I am absolutely afraid for the entire world (of course I already am) and I think I'll move to Australia.

8. Life insurance?
Remember Eric Rudolph?

I think with an extremist anti-choice fundie just a heartbeat away from the Presidency, whackjobs are going to be coming out of the wordwork. It will be McCain's one life vs. the millions of "babies" they can save with him out of the way.

35. True. I've been thinking Finland, it has the best social welfare programs for the citizens.
But Italy is a great choice. Maybe I should go there, I speak a bit of Italian and it's an easy language to perfect.

39. You make a good point about Finland, hadn't thought about that.
I've been to the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy, but never the Nordic countries.

Italy is beautiful, but really all these countries are.

Maybe Holland? Language was no barrier in Amsterdam, one of the prettiest cities anywhere in the world.

I don't see how he runs the country any different than she would run it. I.E. whatever the most conservative lobbiest and think tanks push is exactly what they will do. Rethugs politicians don't think for themselves.

She'd surround herself with fundies rather than neocons, and we'd be even worse off.
