Well, the baby is definitely Sarah Palin's...

Glad those rumors are put to rest. But now they have to contend with pre-marital sex from a high school teen.

9. The math doesn't work.
Bristol is five months pregnant; the kid is four months old.

18. They SAY Bristol is five months pregnant... they SAY Trig is 4 months old...
Edited on Mon Sep-01-08 11:35 AM by gmoney
Trig could have been a month or more premature... Bristol may have not lost the baby weight from the first one, so appears further along than she is... why make a show of scrambling to get to the Podunk, Alaska hospital which is probably staffed by friends of the family, instead of giving birth in a reputable big city hospital, unless there was some monkey business going on...

23. "About" 5 months. It's not impossible, just unlikely.
I am now completely convinced that they tried to cover up the first pregnancy, not counting on a second. They don't pay attention to their kids.

And as for Bristol, I have a feeling that she's going to enjoy the negative attention that her mother get's over this. I know many teenage mothers who have not one once of shame.

11. But the Baby story isn't totally dead
Did she put Trig at risk to fly back to Alaska because of her Secessionist views?

14. I read yesterday that when Sarah ran for gov she told
everyone her husband was going to raise the kids and then after she won he got tired of it quick, went back to work and that her kids get "farmed out" everywhere now. and those words are what her aides call it.

no wonder her daughter got pregnant...

17. That';s not fair. And, it's sexist.
Edited on Mon Sep-01-08 11:34 AM by Midlodemocrat
She didn't get pregnant due to poor parenting. She got pregnant due to her mother's abstinence only sex education stance as well as her feminists for life membership.

19. I don't know...
I don't feel strongly about either of these stories, but... Palin's flat belly at 7 months (see the link above) still doesn't jibe with Trig's birth. Those photos are telling.

Maybe Bristol is not really 5 months pregnant. What if she's only, say, 9 weeks? That would not rule out her being Trig's mother.

Like I said, I don't care that much about this, but I'm not convinced that it's been put to rest either. One thing I am certain about - the stories about Sarah Palin make her out to be ferociously loyal to her family, extremely ambitious, and a shameless liar. Put those three things together, and anything is possible.
